Joe Nichols is following his No.1 hit, 'Gimmie That Girl,' with the brand-new single, 'The Shape I'm In.' But more than just another tune, the Grammy-nominated singer is using the song as an opportunity to find out how his fans really feel. Darryl Worley is finalizing plans for his ninth annual Tennessee River Run, and once again, the country singer has wrangled an all-star cast to participate in the three-day event.

The exhibition, curated by Kasper Monrad will feature 40 acrylic paintings specifically created for the Danish show which opens on Friday, Sept. 3, and runs until the end of January.

Swan-diving into rock 'n' roll's primordial ooze, the Jim Jones Revue previewed their new album, 'Burning Your House Down,' with a combustible set that recalled the holler of Little Richard and the electric energy of the MC5 at intimate London club Madame Jojo's on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 2.

The Rolling Stones merchandising empire has added another string to its bow with the release of the group's own version of 'Monopoly.'
The Daily Mail reports that the Stones, themselves a 48-year old institution of sorts, have teamed up with the world's best-selling board game to celebrate the game's 75th anniversary.

Can it really be two years since their last album? Kings of Leon seem not to have stopped to draw breath over the past couple of years, but have somehow recorded the follow-up to 2008's 'Only by the Night.'

Those wishing to pay their respects to the Call's Michael Been are invited to a memorial service that will be held in his honor on Friday night in Santa Monica, Calif. As Spinner reported at the time, Been passed away on August 19, after he suffered a massive heart attack backstage at Belgian music festival Pukkelpop. He was 60 years old. Keith Urban topped the country -- and pop -- charts with his 2009 album, 'Defying Gravity' and it's almost a sure thing he'll do it again when the follow-up to that smash album is delivered. There's no word yet on a release date for the new record -- Keith is in the process of selecting songs for the disc, and it's still too soon to tell what kind of collection it will be once it's complete.
"We recorded a lot of songs and we're deciding which ones may constitute a new album," Keith tells the Burlington Free Press newspaper in Vermont....
