Less than a week after the death of their lead singer Charles Haddon, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool have announced that their debut album 'The Golden Year' is still to be released worldwide on October 3.
A statement issued by the Camden, North London band's publicist states, "After speaking with the late Charles Haddon's family, remaining band members Joe Hutchinson and Caan Capan have decided to proceed with the original schedule for the release of the record they planned with Charles."
The album's release will be followed by a single, 'The Key', on Oct. 10.

Soundgarden bassist Ben Shepherd has moved to distance himself from an interview which he said he was "homeless."
As previously reported by Spinner, Shepherd was said to be "totally broke" despite the band's recent reformation in an interview with Spin magazine.
