Finnish heavy metal warriors Children of Bodom, led by guitar genius Alexi Laiho, have entered Petrax Studios in their native land to begin work on their currently-untitled seventh album. With a third LP due this month, No Age aren't worried about complacency so much as proficiency. Truth is, the noise-punk act's drummer Dean Spunt and guitarist Randy Randall love the thrill of creating with just the rudiments of technique.
"We've gotten a lot better at our instruments, which I don't necessarily think is a good thing all the time," Spunt tells Spinner. "There's something about being fresh and going through the process of learning -- that was really interesting for me."
